Our 2017 RAG week is drawing to an end, with students returning home tomorrow after a long day of cycling today.

Behind every beautiful photo that has appeared on social media in the last few days is a person who is sleep deprived, with bodies that are hurting and desperate for rest. But they push on, often with a smile on their face as they know the difference they’re making through their sacrifice.

They conquered four mountains yesterday, including the highest peak in England. Some teams didn’t make it back until 3am this morning. They’ll grab three hours sleep before they’re back on their bikes and conquering the hills of the Cumbrian roads. Such dedication among so many is humbling.

We’re so incredibly proud of our staff and students who have pushed their bodies and minds beyond what they thought possible and we can’t wait to give them a hero’s welcome as they return tomorrow.

If you haven’t already, please give generously. Your contributions will ensure we can continue to deliver our courses for years to come.
